BurnCycle is more than just a place to work out, it’s an experiential fitness brand that offers its members a heart space, a head space, and a community to share positive energy. With such an engaging mission, it comes as no surprise that BurnCycle members—known as The Pack—love to share photos and videos of their workout sessions on social media.

BurnCycle hired us to design and oversee the execution of an ownable, large-scale mural intended as a backdrop for group photos after intense workouts in their newest location in suburban Portland.

The murals were intended to convey the stripes of a rainbow, using brand colors and others that complemented the scheme.

SPREAD POSITIVE ENERGY THROUGH RAINBOW-INSPIRED MURALS.

Intended to channel and create positive energy in the space, our geometric mural design was inspired by a rainbow, and used unique color combinations to complement BurnCycle’s signature orange.

Beginning with their second location, we were subsequently hired to create unique murals, drawing on the same inspiration, for each of their four locations in Portland and Seattle. All four murals were hand-painted by Seattle-based, Kevin Drake.

The vibrant brand colors in the murals were achieved with a special sign paint that was mixed by hand on-site to match each color from the design.

Each mural was designed to have a different look, while keeping the same central concept from location to location.
